A compact switched, true summing routing matrix for both audio and DC-coupled control voltages.

SwitchMix™ is a totally analogue design for fast and precise summing and is optimised for analogue quality. It is fully buffered with no loading effects, no digital scanning to breakthrough, no delays or software artefacts, no FET distortion, and no interaction between settings.

SwitchMix™ replaces a tangle of patch cables, mults, and eight eight-input precision adders in one easy to visualise panel.

Each row of LEDs dims to indicate cut status when the (red) output cut button is pressed.

SwitchMix™ may have balanced or unbalanced compatible inputs and outputs, extending its use beyond synthesizer patching to other audio routing applications, including multitrack and effects routing and headphone mixes. The balanced inputs make it suitable for interfacing DAW sound cards into a synthesizer for Silent Way and Volta users.
