EDAC (or Elco) connectors are widely used in professional audio for multiway connections. The series is available in 38-pin, 56-pin, and 90-pin versions with robust metal shells. The 38-pin size is suitable for 8 or 12 balanced cores. The 56-pin is suitable for up to 16 balanced cores, for which there are two standard--but incompatible--formats: a 16 channel version used mainly in the PA field, and the ADAT I/O connector which has 8 inputs and 8 outputs. The 90-pin version is used on some mixers for up to 24 channels.

We can make custom EDAC looms in any of these connector sizes, with your choice of termination on the other end. Some ADAT format looms are available for instant purchase below. For other formats, lengths, connector types, custom labelling, and additional options please use the quotation form.
