This is a screw locking circular connector as used on many vintage Shure and Electrovoice microphones.

The MC3M is a 3-pin connector used on the Shure 55 Unidyne microphone, commonly known as the "Elvis" mic. This cable works with Shure microphone models 55S, 55C, 55B, 55SH, 51, 535, 540, 550, and others.

The MC4M is a 4-pin connector used on Shure 5155A, 545, 545S, and 565 and Electro-Voice 77A, 623, 644, 664, 674, 726, 767.

Although these connectors are no longer manufactured by Amphenol, they were still producted by a specialist company and this enabled us to use new parts, not old stock. However the company was recently taken over and there have been many prices rises which we have had to pass on. We regret that both MC3M and MC4M connecters are no longer available.
